What determines by a mere, say, 14 days, that on Day 1, (just before Christmas), we are exhausted, fresh out of ideas and in need of a rest and, that by Day 14, (just after New Year’s Day), we are full of energy, stack full of resolutions and ideas to improve our lives (and hopefully the lives of others)? hmmm?
At no other time in the year is there quite such a dichotomy in the universal persona. Still, milk it for all its worth, I say. So, if among your resolutions you are determined to become a better, more consistent blogger, then here is how, courtesy of Kimberly Turner (co-founder of Regartor) writing on ProBlogger.
Kimberly has 10 really key tips to creating better blogs and raising the bar on your standard of how to blog well. While resolving to be funnier may not be that easy for many, writing gripping intros and solving problems are two tips well worth considering.
Solving problems, in particular, is worthy of note. You will never be poor giving away free information. All of you are a font of knowledge. All of you know much more than you probably know you know. All of you having been solving problems for your family and friends and business colleagues and clients for years. Bring that expertise to your world of blogging and your community will thank you for it.
Happy 2011 by the way. My resolution: to solve more problems; to blog more often, to be more consistent in the information I deliver.
Don’t forget to LIKE my Facebook Fan Page too, I am concentrating on really delivering easy to follow good information about blogging this year as well.
